What are the important things to remember while traveling Ladakh?


As we know Ladakh is almost listen in everyone’s travel those who love to explore nature around. It require some important things to remember and carry while travelling Ladakh and If you avoid them, it can make you trip worse than ever. In my blog I am going to share those points that will make your trip memorable when to travel what to wear and what to carry while travelling.
Best Time to Travel: - You can travel Ladakh all the year, however the best time to visit Ladakh is from Mid-September to Mid-October. During this season both roads Srinagar to Leh as well Manali-Leh roads open for travellers. Due to recent monsoon the weather mostly dry and starts beginning chilling. You may see snowfall that occurs suddenly in this season. During the season the road conditions are better and maintenance work almost settled.  The water surrounded places with bluish view give you picturesque view that can define you vacation. You can travel by your own transportation or you can book Ladakh tour packages.
Medical Kit: - A medi kit is the most necessary thing that you should carry while travelling to Leh Ladakh and the items you should carry are- Move/Iodex, Dettol/Savlon, Headache medicine, Dizziness and body pain medicine, Disprin/Asprin, Band-Aids, Medicine to suffice lack of oxygen, Imodium, Diamox, stomach ache medicine.
Wearable Things: -The second most important concern while travelling Ladakh is what to wear and how to protect your skin which are as follows- Water/wind proof jacket,  Muffler,  Gloves,  Caps, lip balm/Vaseline, Mustard oil, Sunscreen lotion, Goggles.  Jackets, Woollen socks, Light trousers and t-shirts.
Eatable stuffs: -Carry Glucose, Chocolates, Nuts and other stuff which you would like to eat. Also carry pickle as Ladakh food.
Other important things to carry: - For the inner line permit carry your ID card and 2-3 photo copies of it, medical insurance, map of Ladakh, carry enough cash to save you time over there.

Some Adventures Activities to do around India

When we get bored from your daily routine life we start looking to escape to somewhere we can relax and enjoy some adventures activities. Living in Delhi gives me lots of option to escape and I am sure after reading this blog you will get some exciting option of destinations to explore. Being a traveller I have enjoyed almostall the activities which are gem of India and I am going to share some of them which are best amongst all.
Rafting or Kayaking: - This is one of the most common adventure activity of India.  The most famous rafting destination is Rishikesh where mostly youngsters love to go for camping and rafting.  However you can enjoy kayaking in Andaman or Kerala by booking Kerala tour packages.

Heli Skiing: - It’s not everyone’s spot because it requires lots of courage. The helicopter will drop you at an altitude of 6500 meters is not an easy thing to do. The most popular destination for Heli Skiing is Kullu & Manali.  Rohtang pass is the spot where skiing slope is available in Manali region.  The thrill can increase your heartbeat like you had never before.

Waterfall Rappelling:- Waterfall rappelling requires strength. It’s an adventures sport that allows you to climb down from a cliff using a rope.  However you will face a strong force of water while descending downand it makes this super adventures.  It is for those who  loves to experience  extreme thrill.  Thane in Maharashtra is the destination for water rappelling.

Skydiving or Scuba diving:- It involves jumping from a plane or any other place of height  and travelling through the air. It is definitely not for weak hearted and recently added in Indian adventures activities.  The only places where you can experience this activity in India is Deesa Gujarat. Scuba diving is another name for under water diving.  It is for those who love to explore marine life sealed under gigantic water bodies. The two most popular destination for scuba diving are Goa and Andaman Island.

Trekking: - This is the most  common adventure activity in India. However you can make it more exciting by trekking at some spine chilling locations and it will be most thrilling activities. Zanskar River in Ladakh with zero degree temperature can be something exceptional  and freezing trekking.

Snorkelling: - This is for those who don’t want to touch the depth of water and  only want to visualise the water world. It involves swimming through water with complete precaution like mask and fins. Andaman is  the best snorkelling destination where you can enjoy elephant ride as well.

As the summer season knocking our doors, we all plan to escape for a vacation where we can get some relaxation. Living in India we get plenty of option to explore and you can plan you complete one week trip with your mates or loved ones. Living in New Delhi gives me more option to explore on my summer vacations. As you all know that the temperature of Delhi in summer goes around 45 degree Celsius and it becomes difficult to go out in the day time. Mostly we get addicted of AC and coolers and don’t able to inhale fresh air. A vacation can give you refreshment and make you work again with double energy. I am going to share some of the best destination which can be your place for the coming summer.
  • Manali: -Whenever you plan for summer vacation Manali will definitely come to your travel bucket list.  The green mountains and snow covered ranges gives you fresh air to breath and relaxed vacation. Manali is among the most beautiful destination in India to visit. The nearby airport is Bhuntar which is 50 K.M away from Manali. Manali is almost 550 K.M away from Delhi from where you can go by Bus or cab. You can get plenty of things to do in Manali like- paragliding, zorbing, rafting, quad biking, and Rohtang pass to play in snow.
  • Ladakh: - Bikers dream vacation Ladakh is the place where the beauty live between blue lakes and sky.
