tourism known for representing the most beautiful hill station. This is
smallest state in terms of population. Himachal Pradesh is having timeless
beauty to visit, so you can visit the state any time. However I visited Himachal in winter and did
camping in Kasol. In this blog I am going to share best places to do camping
around Himachal and I am sure you all going to love this.
Narkanda: - Narkanda is situated at a distance of
62 Km from Shimla, 47 Km from Kufri and 7 km from Hatu peak. Narkanda is the
place for adventure seekers. It’sat an altitude of 10,122 feet above sea level.
The camp is ideal option in the lap of unparalleled beauty. You can enjoy
activities like trekking, rock climbing, traversing, archery, bush craft, river
rafting and skiing. You will get all the
facilities in camp like dining hall, attached washrooms with hot and cold
water.
Khajjiar: -The place is referred as mini Switzerland of India, Khajjiar is
a small town near Dalhousie which gives a unique view to visitors. Khajjiar is the combination of forests, lakes
and grasslands. Located at the altitude of 6,500 feet, the unexplored beauty
and scenic view of this place promise to leave an unforgettable impression on

There are lots of activities you can enjoy there like paragliding, horse
riding, zorbing, trekking etc. Khajjiar is a must visit place for those who
visit Dalhousie.
Triund: - Triund is located at a distance of 8 Km away from McLeod Ganj
and 13 Km from Dharamshala. Triund is Gem of Dharamshala, situated in the laps
of Dhauladhar Mountains. There is 6 Km of trekking in which first 5 Km trekking
is fairly is but the last one Km is bit difficult. However camping at Triund
gives you an exceptional experience.
Kheer Ganga: - This is the best place for trekking
and camping nearby Kullu. However if you have doubt on your physical
capabilities this track is not for you. Kheer Ganga is located at a distance of
64 Km from Kullu, 56 Km from Bhuntar, 22 km from Manikaran and 102 Km from
Manali. It’s a small village situated in Parvati valley. Usually it’s a two day
trip from Kullu.
