Being a working guy in a big city
like Delhi, I usually face a hectic schedule every day. However if I plan for a weekend trip most of
the north destination filled with travellers and you won’t able to find that
peace you are looking for. Most of the people look for a trip where we can
reboot our self in the lap of nature. During the summer time peoples around
Delhi run towards hilly area. Even i planned a trip but not sure where to go. I
start searching for the places which are least explored and keeps untouched
beauty. Living in new Delhi I have covered most of the places around North, so
it became quite difficult to choose a destination like I was looking for. After
so much or research and net surfing I came to know that I missed a beauty
within mountains, yes it’s none other than Dharamshala & Dalhousie. I
planned a 4 night 5 days trip and booked Dharamshala & Dalhousie tour
package.
Day 1- I took Volvo bus from
Delhi to Dharamshala in the evening and reached there after an overnight
journey.
Day 2- on second day I checked
in to hotel and freshen up. The best thing of taking package was that the breakfast
and dinner was included in the package, so I took breakfast in the morning and
went for local sightseeing which were Dal Lake, Bhagasunath and Lord Elgin’s
memorial. I would love to say that the view from Dharamshala is amazing. The
snow covered mountains will make you fall in love with the place. After the
sightseeing a I came back to hotel and enjoyed my dinner at the roof of hotel
which was freezing at night.
Day 3- After breakfast in the
morning I took my can for Dalhousie and it took around 5 hour to reach there so
I didn’t able to do sightseeing on third day, however I explored local town
little bit and came back to hotel.
Day 4- Dalhousie is known as mini
Switzerland of India. It’s the last day of trip and I was in hurry so I covered
only few places around Dalhousie like Dainkund peak, Panchpula, Ganji pahari
and mall road. In the evening I took bus and came back to Delhi. The overall
experience was exceptional. If you are planning for north trip you should visit
Dharamshala & Dalhousie.
