Exploring
offbeat places around India is always special. The best thing about travelling
to offbeat destinations is it gives you untouched natural scenery and hassle
free atmosphere. I have experienced several offbeat destinations and I am going
to share some of my favorite places with you. However I travelled those places
on travel package and guess what I enjoyed all my trip without any problem.
Each destinations have their own uniqueness and that would mesmerize you
surely. There are more to explore but till now I have covered Northeast,
Himachal, Kerala and Uttarakhand, but there are more to explore. Hope you will
get brief idea about the beauty of these destinations.
Spiti, Himachal Pradesh: - This is once in a lifetime kind of destination you don’t want to
miss. Hidden in the high altitudes of Himachal
Pradesh Spiti is best for adventure and peace. However there are sever
activities you can experience like Trekking, Camping, Mountain biking. You can
enjoy your quality time in the villages of Ki, Kibber, Kaza, etc. It takes
around 5 hours to travel from Manali to Spiti valley.
Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh: - The spellbinding view of Tawang in Arunachal Pradesh represent the
true beauty of Northeast. This place is also known for birth place of sixth
Dalai Lama, and this town is holy site of Tibetan Buddhism. You can experience adventure activities also.
However here are some place like Sela paxx, Bumla Pass, the exquisite
Shunga-tser Lake, Nuranang waterfalls and Pankang Teng Tso Lake. It offers one
of the best offbeat vacation in India.
Varkala, Kerala: - Located on the edge of Arabian Sea, Varkala in Kerala
is a picturesque heaven. You will able to see immaculate beaches, hills,
shrines and lighthouses. This beach town is one of the famous offbeat place
around India. You will be mesmerized by the peaceful surrounding and it can be
your destination of lifetime. Enjoy adventure activities like paragliding and
parasailing. You can even learn yoga and meditation and experience swimming
sunbathing.
Chopta, Uttarakhand: - It’s a scenic hill station located in Uttarakhand. Chopta is a less
crowded town and best to spend some quality time. You can watch snow-covered
peaks in backdrop. The beauty of town and grassy meadows will give you relaxed
vibes. You can trek to Tunganath temple and Kedarnath wildelife-senctuary. You
can also trek to Chandrashila peak.
Khajjiar, Himachal Pradesh: -Away
from crowded cities of Himachal, Khajjar is an unrevealed beauty. Khajjar is
also known as Switzerland of India. The town is full of hills, lakes and
meadows. You can visit Khajjar throughout the Year. You can experience various
adventure activities like paragliding, horse riding and zorbing.
